Appointment, personal appearance, the form, the old passport, and supporting identity documents. The photograph is captured at the Embassy as part of the biometric enrolment — the same model as Malaysia's, Bangladesh's, the Philippines' and Thailand's missions in Singapore.

e-Visa: what is public and what is not

The Directorate General of Immigration's public e-Visa pages ask for "a recent color photograph" and publish no dimensions. The detailed upload rules sit behind the portal sign-in. A figure circulating outside those pages puts the head at 50–60% of the image — smaller than the usual 70–80% — but it is on no official page we could read, so the Indonesian visa page on this site carries a warning rather than that number.
